• Learn the function of each component in the pneumatic system. This includes compressors, receivers, aftercoolers, moisture separators, dryers, cylinders, valves, filters, regulators and lubricators.

• Understand the damaging effects of water vapor in the system and how to reduce and control the moisture content.

• How to adjust and properly set system control devices such as pressure switches, regulators, lubricators, flow controls, relief valves, and dew points for dryers.

• Have the students apply what they have learned through hands on exercises on our pneumatic trainers.

• Learn the troubleshooting and testing methods for compressors, receivers, relief valves, dryers, valves and cylinders.

• 75% of failures in a compressed air system are caused by contamination. The student learns the proper micron rating, location and maintenance of filters in the system.

• Find out how high and low temperatures can affect the pressure, air volume and moisture content in the system.

• How to read the pneumatic symbols for troubleshooting from the schematic.

• Know the 7 causes of air leaks, understand the excess cost for running the compressor to compensate for leaks and the 5 ways to minimize leakage.
